Leo Darroch Elected as New President of Una Voce

The LMS is delighted to announce the election of Leo Darroch as President of the International Federation Una Voce at its international meeting in Rome, 9-10 November 2007.

Leo, an LMS Committee member and former Deputy Chairman, has been a member of the Una Voce Council for some years, most recently acting as its Secretary. His election as President is well-deserved, and a great honour not only for him but for the Latin Mass Society and, indeed, for England and Wales.

This will be a very busy time for Leo as he strengthens the international organisation of Una Voce, develops its publicity and web site operations and continues Una Voce’s confidential lobbying activities in Rome which have born such fruit in recent years as Rome steadily brings the Traditional Rite back into the heart of the Church.

The LMS Committee at its meeting on Saturday 1 December 2007 formally recorded its congratulations to Leo.
