Chain of Prayer

For the Intentions of the Society

The Society asks that whenever possible, at 6.00 pm each Thursday members offer vocally or mentally, three times this short act of adoration:

O Sacrament most holy, O Sacrament Divine,
All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine.

Other prayers you may find helpful to use from time to time:

O Sacred Banquet! in which Christ is received, the memory of His Passion is renewed, the mind is filled with grace, and the pledge of future glory is given to us.

O God, who under this wonderful sacrament hast left us a memorial of Thy Passion: grant us, we beseech Thee, so to reverence the sacred mysteries of Thy Body and Blood, that we may feel within us the fruit of Thy Redemption. Who livest and reignest, world without end. Amen.

O Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, pour down Thy blessings abundantly upon Thy Church, upon the Supreme Pontiff, and upon all clergy; give perseverance to the just, convert sinners, enlighten unbelievers, bless our parents, friends and benefactors, help the dying, free the souls in Purgatory, and extend over all hearts the sweet empire of Thy love. Amen.

We fly to thy patronage, O Holy Mother of God; despise not our petitions in our necessities, but delivery us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin.

O God who, to the destruction of the enemies of Thy Church and for the restoration of Thy holy worship didst vouchsafe elect blessed Pius to be Thy High Priest; grant us so to defended by his protection, and so to remain steadfast in Thy service, that overcoming the snares of all our enemies, we may enjoy perpetual peace. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Please keep the Society's dead regularly in your prayers since we owe much to them. The souls in Purgatory greatly need our prayers.
